How many treatments are required?
Most skin concerns only require 1-3 treatment sessions to achieve results. The exact number of treatment sessions will be determined during your consultation, and your TKI provider will create a custom treatment plan just for you.
Are excel® V+ treatments painful?
Patients often describe it as feeling similar to a quick rubber band snap against the skin. The cooled treatment tip will come into contact with your skin to protect and provide additional comfort to the area. Your TKI provider will ensure that treatments are as pain-free as possible.
Are there any side effects?
Typically, there is no downtime and you can return to your normal activities immediately after your treatment sessions. You can also wear makeup again as well. Redness and swelling may be expected, usually 24-48 hours after your treatment but will resolve within a few days. Treated brown spots will darken after your session and slough off within 3-5 days.
