Wrinkles and fine lines are a natural part of aging, but they don’t all develop for the same reason. Repeated facial movement can create expression lines, while collagen loss, sun exposure, changes in skin quality, and facial volume loss can contribute to lines that remain visible even when the face is at rest.
At The Kaga Institute, our team offers multiple approaches to facial rejuvenation because treating wrinkles isn’t one-size-fits-all. Depending on your concerns, we may recommend injectables, collagen-stimulating treatments, laser resurfacing, or a combination approach to soften lines while keeping your results natural.

How can The Kaga Institute help me reduce wrinkles & fine lines?
Our treatment options include:
- Opus
- Neuromodulators: BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and DAXXIFY®
- Dermal Fillers
- Secret™ RF Microneedling
- Secret™ PRO
- Secret™ DUO
- Laser Genesis
- PICO Genesis™
- Juliet™
Neuromodulators
Neuromodulators such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and DAXXIFY® are primarily used for dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial movement.
By temporarily relaxing targeted muscles, these treatments can soften forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and other expression-related wrinkles while preserving natural facial movement when appropriately administered.
Dermal Fillers
Some wrinkles develop because the face has lost underlying volume and structural support. Dermal fillers can restore volume in carefully selected areas, soften deeper folds and creases, and improve facial contours.
Rather than simply “filling wrinkles,” our team considers how changes in facial volume contribute to the overall appearance of aging.
Secret™ RF Microneedling
Secret™ RF Microneedling combines microneedling with controlled radiofrequency energy delivered beneath the skin’s surface. The treatment stimulates collagen and elastin remodeling to gradually improve fine lines, firmness, and overall skin tone and texture.
Secret™ PRO and Secret™ DUO
For patients who need more comprehensive skin rejuvenation, Secret™ PRO and Secret™ DUO combine complementary technologies to address wrinkles along with other signs of aging.
Secret™ PRO combines RF microneedling with fractional CO2 laser resurfacing, while Secret™ DUO pairs RF microneedling with a 1540 nm erbium glass laser. These combination treatments allow our team to address both deeper collagen remodeling and visible surface changes.
Laser Treatments
Laser Genesis provides a gentler approach to collagen stimulation and can gradually improve fine lines, enlarged pores, redness, and overall skin quality with minimal downtime.
For patients who need greater resurfacing or correction, our team also offers treatments including PICO Genesis™, Juliet™, and other laser-based options. The appropriate technology depends on the depth of the wrinkles, skin type, pigmentation, desired results, and acceptable downtime.
Opus
Opus uses fractional plasma technology to create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen and elastin remodeling. It can be used to improve fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, and uneven texture while allowing treatment intensity to be customized to the patient’s skin and goals.
What are the differences between fine lines and deeper wrinkles?
Fine lines are generally more superficial and may first appear around areas of frequent movement, such as the eyes and mouth. Deeper wrinkles can develop as collagen, elastin, fat, and structural support diminish with age.
Wrinkles can also be dynamic or static. Dynamic wrinkles appear primarily when you smile, squint, or make other expressions and often respond well to neuromodulators. Static wrinkles remain visible when the face is relaxed and may benefit more from collagen-stimulating treatments, resurfacing, fillers, or a combination approach.
Which wrinkle treatment is right for me?
The best treatment depends on why the wrinkle is there.
Expression lines may respond best to neuromodulators, while wrinkles associated with facial volume loss may require filler. Fine lines related to declining collagen or sun damage may be better addressed with RF microneedling, laser resurfacing, or other skin-remodeling treatments.
Many patients have more than one type of aging concern, which is why combining treatments can sometimes provide a more balanced result than relying on a single procedure.
Can wrinkles and fine lines be prevented?
Wrinkles can’t be completely prevented, but protecting your skin can help slow the development of visible aging. Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen is particularly important because cumulative UV exposure accelerates collagen breakdown and contributes to lines, pigmentation, and changes in skin texture.
A consistent skincare routine, avoiding smoking, and maintaining overall skin health can also help. Preventative aesthetic treatments may be appropriate for some patients, but they should be selected according to your individual skin and facial anatomy.
