How can I prepare for the treatments?
You may be asked to stop using products that contain retinol or alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) two weeks before treatment and a few days afterward, as this affects skin sensitivity.
What can I expect during treatments?
DiamondGlow® treatments are performed using a specialized handheld device. The diamond-tipped wand exfoliates the skin’s surface, removes dirt, dead cells, and debris, and simultaneously infuses a custom serum. With six diamond tips, your TKI provider can customize treatments based on your skin type.
Prior to treatment, wand suction and serum level is set based on your skin type and serum chosen to best benefit your skin. During treatment, the wand is guided across your face, and may be held in place in certain areas of congestion, such as the T-Zone. After two passes, the treatment is complete. Patients often feel a vacuum-like sensation during treatment, but no pain.
How long do DiamondGlow® treatments take?
The treatment is usually performed in 30 minutes.
There is minimal downtime after treatments but you will be able to return to your normal routine. The treated skin may appear flushed or red immediately following your session, but these side effects are minor and temporary.
What results can I expect?
Following your treatment, you’ll notice an immediate boost in radiance and skin suppleness. Your pores will be effectively cleared, leaving your skin feeling fresh and noticeably clearer. The results of a single treatment can last for roughly 4 weeks.
