Botox® For TMJ

Botox® is used as an alternative treatment for TMJ and other associated conditions with jaw tension and pain. When Botox® is injected into muscles afflicted with soreness and discomfort, the Botox® will relieve TMJ and jaw tension.

Similar to other types of Botox® injections, Botox® is injected into the painful area. In this case, Botox® is inserted into the sides of the head or jaw area. When the nerves in these areas become paralyzed, they cease producing pain.
