Rosacea is a chronic but treatable condition that primarily affects your face. It will typically develop after you turn 30 as flushing or redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead. Untreated, inflammatory bumps and pimples can develop.
The Cutera excel®V is a non-invasive laser treatment for rosacea that has been proven to produce new collagens used to treat the condition by gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface and reveals vibrant and healthy looking skin, reducing skin redness.
The Cutera excel® V helps produce healthy new collagen that can help lighten rosacea and redness in your face.
The Cutera excel® V treats face conditions by administering a different high power green laser that is absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels in the skin. The laser will heat these vessels until they are removed.
Minimal preparation is required, but you may be asked not to tan the area, to shave, and to stop using creams containing retinol, as this affects skin sensitivity.
Unlike other procedures, injections or topical anesthesia are not required. The process typically takes 15 to 30 minutes, and the device is placed over the affected area until the abnormal vessels diminish.
Most sessions only take 5 to 10 minutes, but can take up to 45.
Results are usually visible immediately after the first session. The number of sessions depends on various things, like the severity of your condition.
Cutera excel® V treatments can feel similar to a pinprick. Depending on the procedure, a cold treatment tip will be used to protect the skin and provide comfort to the area. A topical anesthetic may also be used.
Redness and/or swelling can be expected and will resolve within a few days. Typically, patients can wear makeup and return to normal activities immediately.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum
