The most visible signs of aging can be traced back to volume loss. As we age, our skin loses collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, causing the formation of lines and wrinkles. The bone, muscles, and fat pads also change, affecting facial shape. Dermal fillers are specifically designed to add volume and enhance facial contours, restoring a natural and youthful appearance.
Dermal fillers are a non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment. There are a variety of FDA-approved fillers that cosmetic surgeons use, and each filler is formulated to have a certain texture, intensity, and injection depth, meaning some work better for certain areas of the body. Dr. Kaga will help determine which product is best suited for your area of concern and aesthetic goals. The chosen filler will be injected strategically under the skin during your procedure.
What dermal fillers can do:
• Plump thin lips
• Enhance shallow contours
• Soften facial lines and wrinkles
• Improve the appearance of scars
• Reconstruct contour deformities in the face
• Decrease or remove the shadow of the lower lids
Dermal fillers can also be very helpful for those with early signs of aging.
Dermal fillers work by boosting the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid, a substance that revitalises and adds volume to the skin.
It is recommended that you avoid any medications that can prolong bleeding, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) for about a week before receiving treatment.
Strategic points on your face are marked as the best injection sites for the filler. An antibacterial agent and numbing cream is applied to minimize pain. Most fillers used also contain lidocaine to minimize discomfort as well. The filler is then injected into the marked areas.
Pain is minimal. While the injection is not painless, they are easily tolerated.
Injection takes a few minutes per injection site. Depending on the number of areas being treated, the whole process may be as short as 15 minutes, up to an hour.
Depending on the product and/or areas treated, you should be able to notice results immediately after receiving filler injections. Most results from dermal fillers last 6 to 12 months, but depends on the type of filler used.
It’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise, stranded exposure to heat, and alcohol consumption for the remainder of the day.
Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid and similar substances to fill in, or plump areas that have lost volume or smoothness. Botox® freezes muscles to stop creases and wrinkles caused by facial expressions.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum
