Kybella® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and visibility of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
Treatment with Kybella® is tailored to the individual patient’s submental fat distribution and aesthetics goals for an improved chin profile.
The injection process may take 15 to 20 minutes.
A patient may have 1 to 3 treatments with 1 to 2 vials per treatment depending on the amount of correction desired. The treatments are generally spaced between 4 to 6 weeks apart.
For patients that maintain a normal to a healthy lifestyle, results are permanent.
