Low libido is the most common sexual complaint made by up to 30 to 40 percent of older women. Even younger women can feel the effect of a hormonal imbalance as it relates to their sex life. PRP Vaginal Rejuvenation enables the body to use its own natural growth factors to rejuvenate the vagina for help with stress incontinence and sexual dysfunction with little to no discomfort.

PRP Vaginal Rejuvenation involves injecting your own blood platelets into your vaginal tissue. The platelets naturally attract your own stem cells to the injected area, which then generate healthier and more functional tissue in the vagina. This is a non-surgical procedure.

The experience and results can be different with everyone, but our clients have reported greater arousal for clitoral stimulation, a tighter vaginal opening, more frequent, and longer, orgasms, increased sexual desire, decreased pain of dyspareunia, increased natural lubrication, increased sexual desire, and decreased urinary incontinence.

Little preparation is necessary. Patients are urged to drink lots of water prior to the procedure to make the drawing of blood easier.

First, blood is drawn from your arm and put into a centrifuge in order to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. Your doctor will apply a topical anesthetic inside your vagina and around your clitoris. Once those areas are dumb, they will inject a local anesthetic to completely numb the deeper tissues. Then, a tiny needle is used to inject PRP near your clitoris and into the front wall of your vagina, near the G-spot and urethra.

The whole procedure, including blood drawing and injection, takes about 30 minutes. The injections take less than a minute.

Some women may notice immediate increased sensitivity as the procedure results in initial swelling. However, regeneration starts around the 3 week mark, as the PRP stimulates the stem cells, collagen, and blood vessels to help grow tissue. Results can last up to a year or more.

Most women describe a slight pinching feeling but consider the procedure to be relatively pain-free.

Women can return to normal activity, including sex, immediately after the PRP Vaginal Rejuvenation procedure.
